This research aims to investigate on Ibn Sina’s intelectual background and writings, especially about his concept of soul. The object ive of this study examine Ibn Sina Theory of soul. This theory of soul presented in the work of Ibn Sina. In particular, this study attempts to show Ibn Sina’s theory of soul and its contribution to the moslem world especially in Indonesia. In approaching the subject matter. This study will use a method of analysis. The data for this study are derived from both primary and secondary sources. The primary sources include works written by Ibn Sina himself.
